HunaTek is seeking an Emergency Management Program Analyst to support a government customer. As an Emergency Management Program Analyst, you will be developing, maintaining, and supporting training programs. This position is contingent to contract award. Essential Job Functions: * In accordance with assignment of tasks, facilitate the development, control, and management of emergency management-based projects to include, but not limited to, general programming, planning, training, and exercise development and execution.
* Participates or facilitates management groups in support of leadership, assigned tasks or special projects.
* Participate in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques.
* Assist in maintaining organizational lines of effort for assigned projects and meetings as required. * Prepare and deliver oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff service functions and activities. * Support the development and lifecycle of a comprehensive emergency management / preparedness training programs for domestic facilities, bureaus, offices, and personnel. * Create and prepare training products and emergency preparedness materials and review them for currency and for adherence to existing policies, procedures, and best practices. * Create training documentation, training materials, training certificates, and post-training surveys. * Assist with planning, designing, executing, and evaluating emergency preparedness training and with distributing training-related products. * Support the development, review, coordination, and implementation of annual training plans. * Execute other administrative duties as assigned in support of organizational tasks. Skills and Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's Degree or Five Years of Relevant Experience
* Expert writing skills and ability to write under pressure with short deadlines
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite products
* Expert knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods and procedures to investigate and evaluate facts and trends related to domestic emergency situations and the preparation of appropriate responses * Knowledge of national level policy, including the Post-Katrina Emergency Management Reform Act of 2006; Executive Order (E.O.) 12656, Assignment of Emergency Preparedness Responsibilities; National Exercise Program; National Security Presidential Memoranda; and the suite of deliverables in the policy document formerly known as Presidential Policy Directive-8 National Preparedness
* Knowledge of the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program
* Solid analytical ability and foresight to identify effective and timely resolutions to program issues
