Hunckler Fabrication LLC is seeking to hire an energetic and task oriented full time staff member to fill a position with our shipping team. Hunckler Fabrication LLC is a moderate sized family-owned company growing every year, making shades for recreational vehicles. We seek a motived team member who can grow with us in the coming years. This is an entry level position with opportunities for advancement. A successful applicant will be a high energy applicant who is comfortable interacting with customers and is detail focused.

Shipping Assistant Job Description:

The Shipping Assistant will be working with our shipping team, helping in the day-to-day operations of that department. The shipping team is responsible for quality control, packing and shipping product directly to consumers, and performing install of the product. Shipping Assistants who show an aptitude for installs and who desire travel will have the opportunity to travel to events all over the United States. The Shipping Assistant position is full time Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM at our Mocksville facility and comes with a variety of benefits outlined below.

Shipping Assistant Requirements:

· High attention to detail

· Effective communicator in English (if bi-lingual or multi-lingual that is a plus)

· Demonstrated ability to work with a team.

· Ability to be near and handle strong rare earth magnets

· Positive demeanor

· Comfortable in indoor and outdoor work

· Good spatial awareness

· Comfort working on an 8-foot ladder

Shipping Assistant Responsibilities:

· Read a tape measure and perform work within allowed specifications

· Work as member of a team along with other staff in shipping

· Ensure work product adheres to company standards through visual and physical inspections

· Pack and ship product

· Install shades

· Interact with customers at the production facility

· Optional travel to events for installations

Pay:

· Starting Pay is $13 per hour for this entry level position.
