Audit Manager

The primary day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing and performing for-profit audit, review and compilation engagements, employee benefit plan audit engagements and relationship building. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business field
• CPA track and/or will consider equivalent work experience 
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience
• Supervisory experience

Job Duties

• Planning, coordinating, supervising and executing for-profit audits, reviews and compilations, employee benefit plan audits in compliance with applicable GAAS, GAAP and  regulatory requirements.
• Managing teams across multiple clients involving allocating work to staff and senior  accounting team to manage audit engagements to budget
• Develop, train, and mentor staff and senior accountants
• Research technical accounting and auditing issues and provide technical review support
• Manage and build client relationships

• Tech savvy; Ability to learn and utilize other software packages to benefit work product and firm
• Highly detail-oriented with strategic organization skills to meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment
• Effective and consistent communication skills with both internal and external clients
• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision and take initiative
• Professionalism, positive attitude, personable
• Strong relationship building skills for client contact and future business development opportunities
