What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager–Shelter Programs (HGA-BR) position at Hunt Guillot & Associates (HGA)?
HGA is gathering resumes of candidates to fill potential upcoming Case Manager positions to support Shelter Programs that may be located in the Punta Gorda, Florida area.
The Case Managers will be needed to assist with the aftermath of storms affecting these areas. They will support shelter activities including serving as a shelter workers, registration workers, feeding staff, dormitory staff and pet support staff. It's anticipated the shelter needs will last from 1-6 months.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Screening and registering evacuees
- Delivering meals during meal period
- Knowledgeable about Program policies and helps develop standard operating procedures
- Exercise discretion and good judgment with respect to day-to-day management
- Other tasks as directed
- Ability to assess problems and develop solutions in a live, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates excellent customer service and teamwork.
- Ability to react promptly and efficiently to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines with excellent customer service
- Strong oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork ability
- High school diploma
- At least one (1) years of customer service in a fast paced environment
- Ability to pass the State of Florida level II background check
- Candidates must be located within daily commuting distance of Punta Gorda, Florida to be considered
- Must be able to work 12-16 hour shifts, either day or night shifts
- Bachelors degree
- Emergency shelter experience
