We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor for our company’s welding department at the Raymond, MS location.  This position is on 2nd shift (3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.).

Responsibilities

The Production Supervisor will be responsible to the Superintendent for meeting aggressive production requirements while maintaining high expectations in Safety, Quality, and Productivity. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct hourly workforce of Assemblers who are required to meet company/departmental objectives
• Provide training and cross-training for all employees to ensure a versatile workforce
• Complete all routine paperwork, reports, and schedules in accordance with company/departmental objectives
• Effectively communicate with peers, subordinates, and management
• Support and implement management philosophy and vision
• Contribute and make recommendations to control and reduce departmental and overall costs
• Meet deadlines in a fast-paced customer focused organization

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred
• Wedling experience preferred
• 2 previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must have demonstrated leadership abilities
• Proficient computer skills
• Must have ability to effectively work with people in a team environment and at various levels of the organization
• Must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Ability to work accurately with numbers.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• AS400 experience is a plus.
