Since 1977, Huntington Learning Center has been the leader in the educational services industry. We provide core learning essentials: reading, writing, math (STEM in general) and specific areas of tutor support. We work hand-in-hand with the teachers of K through 12, to help students at all levels achieve their objectives. We also help students prep for ACT/SAT exams.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Center Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Center Director with the day-to-day operations of the center, managing staff, and ensuring that all programs and services are running smoothly. Building strong relationships within our center and the community is key to this role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of dedicated full- and part-time employees
- Plan and facilitate parent meetings to discuss student progress
- Develop and maintain individualized student educational programs
- Implement strategies to promote the center's services in the local community, including visits to schools, businesses, and local events
- Foster an atmosphere of care, understanding, and trust, delivering excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree or specific certification a plus
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Comfortable working with a diverse range of students, parents, and community members
