Business Banking Portfolio Specialist

*This is a Hybrid position. There will be a need to go to the office as needed.

Summary:

The Business Banking Portfolio Specialist will provide customer service to many new to bank customers and offer administrative support in our 8821. We're looking for a self-starter who wants to grow in a dynamic new position. The Business Banking Portfolio Specialist will:

Provides administrative support by processing the 8821 Form

Must work with a focus on detail as the form needs to be completed in its entirety to be used to process tax returns

Responsible for contacting clients on a regular basis to collect necessary loan closing validation paperwork including the 8821 form

Able to identify discrepancies within the form that could result in a rejection and delay

Act as liaison between customer and government entity (SBA) to ensure we have correct documentation

Communicate with internal partners to resolve any discrepancies that might arise during the documentation process

Provide support to other teams as necessary to help support business banking

Will cross train on other functions to support other areas of the Business Loan Center as needed

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma

Minimum 2 years of financial or banking sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

SharePoint experience

Outbound call experience

Ability to interact with all levels of the organization

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication

Experience with calling clients to obtain needed documents

Must have a disciplined approach to time management

Compensation Range:

$23.00-$30.00

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. ?Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. ?In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
