WORK HOURS: 10 months / Full-time

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Elementary Bilingual Teacher (Polish) for Multilingual program. The TBE teacher is responsible for developing lesson plans and delivering engaging, differentiated instruction that is aligned with the curriculum through a bi-literacy approach and following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. The teacher is responsible for creating an environment of respect and rapport while establishing a culture for learning in which safety and order is the norm.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Appropriate valid Illinois Professional Educators License with Elementary Bilingual Education and ESL Teacher endorsement or Transitional Bilingual Endorsement. Fluent in Polish.
