Job Description
The job duties of a fund controller include accounting, financial statements, and reporting for the investment funds. The Controller reports directly to the VP Finance and responsibilities include:
- Oversee monthly NAV process and statement distribution
- Accrue, monitor, and report fees to management and fund administrator
- Research and gather relevant information needed for VP Finance to respond to ad hoc management and portfolio manager inquiries and reporting requests
- Develop and maintain effective systems reporting processes, including reconciliations between accounting and prime broker systems
- Document accounting processes and related controls
- Manage external audits
- Partner with software vendors with implementation of enhancements to create efficiencies and automation
Experience and Qualifications
- Fund accounting: 2 years
- CPA preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
