Summary:
The Buyer will be responsible for managing KPIs and other programs to monitor and improve department, buyer, and vendor performance to ensure optimal supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage SOPs for daily activities and procedures of the department
- Establish revised SOPs addressing efficiency gains for the department
- Establish criteria for when to negotiate and renegotiate best pricing for all goods
- Manage the performance of buyers while maintaining lowest possible overall department costs
- Manage purchased inventory and dollars to maintain minimum levels
- Conduct staff performance evaluations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field
- At least 5 years of prior experience in a purchasing role
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Negotiation experience with a proven track record of controlling and reducing external spend
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
