Duties for our varied positions may include:
- Invoice service orders, parts sales and contract jobs for multiple locations.
- Deposit and post cash receipts.
- Monitor collections and follow up on past-due accounts. Credit checks on new customers.
- Maintain forms and procedures to support lien protections and collection efforts.
- Enter inventory transactions and research discrepancies.
- Accounts Payable, including verification of invoices.
- Job Cost allocations and maintenance of job files.
- Sales, excise and use tax accounting, and maintenance of exemption forms.
- Weekly timesheet coding, including allocations to jobs and service orders.
- Research and assist with contract requirements such as bonding, insurance, certified payrolls.
- Miscellaneous accounting support such as data entry, filing, spreadsheets and analysis.
- Potential for more responsibility as skills develop and workload allows.
Education and experience requirements:
- Two years of accounting experience or education.
- Construction and job costing background helpful.
- A good working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
- Detail oriented person with good communication skills.
