What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician position at Hydra-Lube?
>Working as a technician on hydraulic fluid systems in power plants. Traveling state to state during outage season (February-May, August-December). Non-Nuclear jobs usually last 5-7 days, Nuclear jobs last 2-6 weeks depending on the scope of work.
>Must be able to pass monthly drug screens and 6 month hair follicle tests, as well as a background check.
>Will be required to pass online safety training for various plants (PowerSafe, TAPPI Safe, plant site specifics, Nuclear training/vetting)
>When there are no ongoing jobs you will work in the shop cleaning & servicing equipment as well as other various shop work with a guaranteed 40 hours.
>Industrial or construction experience required, minimum of 1 year experience
>Minimum High School diploma
>Main operations based in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Traveling mostly in the continental US.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
