Hydra Service, Inc. is a full-service pump and process equipment distributor located in Warrior, AL. We provide service and quality equipment for purchase or rental to Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida. With over 65,000 sq. ft. of repair facilities, including a pump repair shop, an electric motor rewind shop, a machine shop, and two test pits, we are equipped to handle any repair or maintenance needs. Our service department is available 24/7 and we have our own fleet of fully equipped service trucks.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Worker to join our team. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Pay will depend on knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift, reach truck, cherry picker, crane, or other heavy equipment to move materials around the warehouse and distribution center.
- Assist with receiving and shipping products, ensuring that all materials are properly stored and organized.
- Perform tasks related to building and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Load and unload materials, products, and supplies from trucks and trailers.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Comply with safety regulations and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or cranes, is necessary.
- Strong materials handling skills.
- Knowledge of building and construction techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects.
