Overview
We are a very busy doggy daycare and boarding facility that is looking to provide top-notch grooming services to our furry clients. If you have a passion for animals and enjoy making pets look and feel their best, this role is perfect for you. Please ONLY apply if you have at least 1 year experience in grooming.
Duties
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for various breeds of dogs and cats
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during grooming procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences
- Monitor pets for health issues or abnormalities and report any concerns to the appropriate staff
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners
Skills
- Proficiency in pet grooming techniques
- Knowledge of dog handling and animal restraint methods
- Understanding of pet care and animal behavior
- Experience in customer service within a veterinary or pet care setting is advantageous
- Familiarity with basic veterinary procedures is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
