JobSummary:Work as the liaison between Engineering and Production to troubleshoot, create, and implement procedures required to assemble, test, process, and manufacture aluminum extrusions.

Required Education/Experience:

• High school diploma required.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Hands on experience with an array of equipment and processes.
• Must be able to read and write small numbers and letters; have ability to make arithmetic calculations.
• Must be able to perform several tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to respond quickly to problems; have ability to work in a stressful environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and managers in both written and verbal form.
• Must be able to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Must always follow plant-wide safety procedures.
• Must pass a drug/alcohol screen. (Note: Accommodations will be made in accordance with The Americans with Disabilities Act).
• Computer work will require the repetitive use of fingers, wrists, and arms.
• Must successfully complete a ninety (90) day orientation period.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting in development, evaluation, and documentation of manufacturing processes.
• Project work to improve upon safety, delivery, cost, and employee morale.
• Provide hands on technical assistance to production, as needed.
• Always exhibit a professional and positive approach.
• When conditions dictate, overtime may be required (with little or no prior notification).
