The rate that we reasonably expect to pay for this position is: $ 71, 493 to $112,163

Shifts Available and Hours: 3am to 12pm or 11am to 8pm

JobSummary:

Responsible for the planning and execution of the day-to-day activities of the Extrusion department and employees to ensure product is moved through production in the most cost effective and safe manner. Directs and coordinates all Extrusion operations to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel.

Required Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish-Required

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong organization and detail management skills, with accountability for project from inception through production launch
• Must have basic math skills, use a calculator,
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Must be able to work cohesively in a team environment
• Ability to use computer programs and software such as MS Office, Axapta, and IMS

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversees day to day operations in the Extrusion Department and evaluates and performs functions of staffing, quality, safety, housekeeping, delivery, and cost of manufacturing
• Fosters an environment that allows staff and responsible departments to interact and develop processes and procedures that comply with Plant Manager's directives and promotes continuous improvement
• Recommends capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment to increase efficiency and services of the department
• Enforces compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations
• Investigates causes of customer or other complaints and responds accordingly
• Responsibilities include interviewing, making hiring decisions, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
