What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Associate 2nd shift position at HYDRO-GEAR?
In logistics, you understand that your role is vital to internal and external customers. In this role as a Logistics Associate, duties could include wrap, claim and label skids of product, load/unload shipments, administrative shipping duties which can include preparing customer orders, completing advanced shipping notices on customer websites, setting up trucks to pick up shipping orders, computer work with HG business system. Other receiving/shipping duties would be assessed and assigned as knowledge in the department grows.
You know that Logistic Associates handle more than material. This role is also responsible for ensuring parts move correctly through our inventory system with accurate claiming of finished goods, correct labeling and ultimately shipping.
Your creative solutions to tackle logistic challenges yourself or in collaboration with a team are important to meet or exceed the customer’s expectations. A Logistics Associate who has solid work ethic and high energy is self-motivated to work independently or with cross-functional teams.
Whether handling documents or handling products, you ensure the right products are transported to the right location to make certain your customer receives remarkable results.
