The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Employee Benefits Service Team Leader, the Employee Benefits Client Market Analyst is expected to have (and continue to develop) employee benefit industry knowledge. this position is responsible for coordinating, leading, obtaining, and illustrating the various insurance carriers and providers pricing for our client's upcoming renewals. In this role you will work directly with the sales and service teams in preparation of all the material needed for the renewal.
We currently operate in a hybrid work environment with a minimum of 2 days in office and the opportunity to work remotely the remaining 3 days. In office requirements may be greater at the early stages of employment or based on business need.
In This Role You Will Execute On:
An ideal team member has exceptional communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task. Managing internal and external requests, prioritizing projects, and working with tight deadlines are all essential to success in this role.
This position t is responsible for preparing the work product for clients in a timely, accurate and thorough manner. This work product is part of the process in determining the client’s employee benefit strategy for the coming year and sometimes years.

- Working new business opportunities and current book of business renewals including preparing and sending out RFPs, reviewing, analyzing and summarizing quotes, and proposal preparation where applicable
- Assisting with preparation of various client presentations and deliverables
- Discipline in 100% documentation of services provided in BenefitPoint
- Timely response and follow-up with carrier partners as well as internal team of all client renewals out to market
- Assist in the running, developing, and distributing of client reports
- Primary focus will be client who are both fully insured and self-funded with 50 or more eligible

- Previous work experience with employee benefits
- Previous Accuracy is key
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel is critical; experience using Word, Outlook and PowerPoint also required.
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize with effective results.
- Ability to multi-task as there are often multiple renewals due at the same time; specifically, January 1 of each year.
- Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills, including research capabilities.
- Analytical skills to determine best options based on strategy set out by the entire team based on the client's goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication skills; including listening, speaking, and writing.
- Be a team player as there are several different disciplines coming together that play into the overall client renewal process.
