What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Success Manager position at Hyphen?
The Hyphen team is looking for a highly motivated Client Success Manager to join our team. The position requires a proactive, highly-motivated individual with aptitude for creativity and critical thinking, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
This job sits at the intersection of clients, business, and development, and may supervise direct reports based on team size and make up.

- Familiar with how databases or technical systems work.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
At a high level your primary responsibility will be onboarding clients and maintaining a good relationship. Ultimately, you should be able to provide technical, product, and business knowledge to support the sales process and strengthen customer relationships.
- Regular meetings/communications with the client to obtain specifications and goals, and provide routine updates.
- Regular internal meetings/communications to translate specifications and manage timelines. Key stakeholders include:
- Marketing group
- Data science
- Development
- Driving timelines and tasks across groups to get things done.
- Advocating for both Hyphen and your clients to reach satisfying outcomes.
- Balancing internal needs with resource constraints and client requests.
- Analyzing customers’ needs and suggesting upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Successful experience with Project, Product, or Account Management in previous roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to grasp customers’ needs and suggest timely solutions.
- Ability to grasp technical systems and details.
