What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality technician position at HyPro?
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Quality Technician for our 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
Performs mechanical and dimensional inspection on machined components per specifications, blueprints and work instructions.
- Performs 1st piece, receiving, in-process, and final inspections on machined parts; assuring compliance with specifications and maintaining accurate records in accordance with quality control procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Inspect all manufacturing documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Interacts with Quality Staff, Production Manager and Engineering to ensure compliance and that all issues are resolved.
- Ensures tools and equipment meet standards and calibration requirements.

Preferred Experience :
- Excellent Math Skills (both standard and metric)
- Proficient in Blueprint Interpretation and GD&T
- Quality Records Documentation
- Inspection & Gauging of parts
- CMM Operation Experience a Plus
