General Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager leads the Hyundai Capital Finance business conducted in the sales region. The position requires the guidance and coaching of field sales, driving performance and achieving sales objectives. The position will monitor regional OEM and dealer performance to achieve region profitability objectives. The role will require representation at OEM and dealer councils, ad associations and serve as the primary liaison for the OEM at the regional level.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Direct day to day regional & district level HMF/GF activities.
2. Be a good leader with a strong positive attitude all the time.
3. Manage and achieve assigned HCA KPI’s within the region.
4. Lead, coach and develop regional BDMs in district management.
5. Collaborate with HCA leadership to achieve company KPI’s and objectives.
6. Collaborate with Hyundai Capital Insurance in all regional insurance business.
7. Be the lead on all commercial asset management within the region.
8. Lead the HCA OEM relationship for the assigned region (HMF to also include Genesis OEM).Daily management and oversight of Commercial underwriting activities including new requests and annual reviews. Work with Sales, Risk, OEM, etc
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills:
- 6-8 years automotive retail management (F&I, Sales Mgr, GSM or GM)
- 3 years of proven territory management and account acquisition activities (May include 2 years B2B outside territory sales/management or business development, must include minimum 1-year automotive related territory management and account acquisition activities
- Previous experience in automotive finance preferred
- Data analysis and reporting skills required
- Proven history of account acquisitions through execution of established dealer conversion methods
- Experienced in sustainable account development
- College degree preferred but will consider industry related experience & accreditations
- Demonstrated sales aptitude
- Demonstrated operational ability
- Demonstrated dealer service and field support skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and business system skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels.
- Work is performed in an office environment.
- Overnight travel required.
- Must be willing to relocate.
