Safety Supervisor II

Minimum Qualifications

• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related area; Master’s preferred.
• 5 – 7 years of progressive experience in construction safety management roles.
• OSHA 30 - Hour Construction Occupational Safety and Health certification or equivalent.
• OSHA 500 - Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry or equivalent.
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Advanced knowledge of safety management principles, tools, and technologies in construction
• Strong understanding of Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
• Microsoft office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.

Essential Functions  

• Oversee the safety management functions across multiple construction projects.
• Develop strategic plans to enhance construction site safety and health.
• Manage a team of safety professionals, promoting skill development and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align safety initiatives with organizational goals.
• Ensure strict adherence to construction safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Review and maintain compliance with government regulations and ordinances.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
