Location

Purpose

The incumbent will coordinate product press communications for Genesis Motor North America. The Manager will execute strategies that maintain and enhance the credibility, reputation, and awareness of the Genesis brand and its product lineup in North America. This position will assist with coordination of all earned media objectives related to product public relations.

Major Responsibilities

• Participate in the creation of the short & long-term product communications strategy and execution.
• Manage day-to-day product PR activities ensuring synergies and efficiencies within Genesis Motor North America.
• Support product PR outreach functions and projects.
• Devise and execute new product public relations plans in partnership with the Senior Manager.
• Proactively generate stories and solicit coverage about the company’s products, programs, and events in print, online, and other broadcast outlets.
• Communicate key messages for Genesis and act as a product contact for US media.
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of press conferences and special events related to the promotion of the company’s lineup of products.
• Coordinate the Company’s fleet of press vehicles and other assets to maximize positive media reviews through efficient utilization.
• Coordinate the Company's media website product pages, ensuring content meets the unique needs of the automotive press.
• Create and oversee product PR programs, events, and initiatives that secure coverage and positive impressions of the brand.
• Develop product communications materials including press kits, speech writing, interview preparation and notes, question and answer sheets, and press releases.
• Implementation and management of systems and processes to circulate, evaluate, value, and record media coverage. Create trend analysis and monitor commentary on core subjects of interest, highlighting opportunities and issues across the Genesis organization related to its product lineup.

Support product PR social media and influencer initiatives.

• 2 – 5 years related work experience in communications
