Purpose
~ Assists in the area of financial analysis and planning.
~ Provides Management with data to be utilized in making well-informed decisions.
~ Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports and financial plan.
Major Responsibilities
~ Prepare, analyze and present financial reports reflecting actual performance against budget/forecast on a monthly or as needed basis. Prepare presentation material for Regional Headquarters CFO.
~ Collaborate with the other business units to develop an understanding of internal cost structures and market based pricing strategies and proposals, while maximizing sales volume and profitability for Hyundai and Genesis vehicles.
~ Analyze and review all North American Incentive and Promotional programs for reasonableness, accuracy and effectiveness.
~ Proactively seek opportunities to improve planning and reporting processes across North American entities
~ Develop financial models for a range of potential strategic and operational cases, for both internal and external stakeholders
~ Responsible for coordinating factory production plans to meet North American Hyundai entities sales targets.
~ Coordinate budget management with North American Hyundai entities.
~ Work closely with all North American Hyundai entities to get and provide market and/or industry update.
~ Complete special projects on request from Regional Headquarters CFO and Hyundai Motor Company.
~ Frequent written and verbal communication with North American Hyundai entities and Hyundai Motor Company.
~ Occasional travel to develop and maintain working relationships with North American Hyundai entities (including Canada, Mexico and South Korea).

Related Experience
~Five to seven years of experience of which at least three years of directly related experience in Finance.
~Large, multinational organization experience preferred.
Skills/Knowledge
~Requires an understanding of accounting and financial analysis principles and methods.
~Strong analytical skills required.
~Proven efficiency leveraging data from various systems for analysis and reporting (including AS/400, ISeries, QMF, SAP, MicroStrategy, Excel and SQL query tools).
~Understanding of dealer and consumer incentive programs.
~Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Certification
~CPA, CMA or CFA desired.
