What you would be doing
Utilizing leadership, advocacy, and collaboration skills, the Speech Language Pathologist Manager will provide support to the lead speech-language pathologist and the speech-language therapy team in a variety of clinical settings and report to the medical director. The SLP Manager will ensure the provision of services of the highest quality delivered in a fiscally sustainable manner in accordance with the Boundless Health mission, vision, and values. The SLP Manager is responsible for ensuring that the needs of patients are met and maintained on an individualized basis in accordance with policies and procedures, and current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Required Experience and Education
- Masters in Speech-language pathology with at least 3 years’ experience.
Required Licensure/Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- State of Ohio License in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant. (Training will be provided, if not already certified).
- COVID Vaccine.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will supervise the lead speech-language pathologist and is responsible for the actions of the team as a whole.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment but regularly traverses the campus to provide support in the program buildings. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evening work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, but occasional out-of-the-area travel may be expected.
