What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Collector position at I-Care Reliability?
POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for providing condition monitoring services as directed by management. The CM Tech 1 is trained in the proper techniques of condition monitoring data collection. The CM Tech 1 is also capable and required to do visual equipment inspection. The CM Tech 1 is responsible to adhere to safety procedures and general good work habits and awareness. CM Tech 1 must comply with all with all I-care, client, OSHA, and all other applicable standards to the facility that they are servicing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Performs program setup activities as directed by CM Analyst or SME, including but not limited to:
- Equipment walk down and information gathering.
Communication to the clients, including but not limited to:
- Communicating visual observations of equipment to client.
- Communicating any safety problems identified during route collection.
Responsible for the overall safety awareness of the work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with I-care, client, OSHA, and other applicable standards.
- Actively participates in I-Care and client safety programs to foster continuous improvement.
- Issue’s a “Stop Work” action if any situation, environment, or condition is an immediate concern of injury to himself or others. If it is not safe than do not perform the work until a safe method or condition exists, period.
Performs Condition Monitoring data collection of equipment under the guidance of a CM Analyst or CM Tech 2. Condition Monitoring responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collect technology data in accordance with I-Care and best practice industry standards.
- Maintains technology databases with current information.
- Performs Visual Inspection of equipment for proper installation, damage, etc.
Other Responsibility
Performs special projects as assigned. Work on call and/overtime as needed and required.
Ensures that work area and all I-Care and/or client supplied equipment is clean, secure, and well maintained.
GENERAL PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
Technical – proper collection techniques and processes are followed, visual observations are conducted and reported on, and assignments are completed as scheduled.
All inquiries are courteously attended to. Good business relations exist with I-Care employees and clients. A professional image is projected at all times.
Work is performed safely and employee actively participates in continuous improvement of the safety programs. Work areas and equipment are kept neat, clean, and well organized.
