What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at I&E Construction, Inc.?

The Accounts Payable Clerk plays a key role in the accounting team. Their responsibilities will include maintaining files, performing accurate data entry, researching information and providing key input for cost reduction measures. The Accounts Payable Clerk will process accounts payable as well as supporting other finance functions.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare check runs regularly
  • Data integrity checks
  • Internal auditing
  • Vendor compliance
  • Enter accurate data into accounting systems
  • Review vendor invoices
  • Account reconciliation
  • Manage vendor issues
  • Various daily support to Accounts Payable team

QUALITIES AND SKILLS:

  • 2 years’ experience in accounts payable
  • Experience in job costing
  • Experience and understanding of subcontractor billing and schedule of value
  • Extensive knowledge in QuickBooks
  • Viewpoint experience is a bonus
  • Hard working
  • Self-directing
  • Also able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willing to do various jobs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per year
