i.g.Burton is currently on the search for a an automotive mechanic / technician that is high-energy, organized, fast-paced, dedicated, reliable, and will go the extra mile.

At .i.g. Burton , we work on domestic cars and light and medium trucks. We have a GIANT base of customer vehicles.

• Our technicians are highly productive employees that;
• Have passion, and a complex understanding of the Automotive High-Performance industry.
• Have the ability to perform high-level automotive repair and problem solving.
• Can accurately and systematically perform these services on vehicles :
• Routine Maintenance
• Brake System Repair
• Steering System Repair
• Electrical System Repair and Basic Diagnosis
• Alignment Services (preferred knowledge on performance and lowered applications)
• Tire and Wheel Installation
• Mechanical and Electrical Upgrades
• Have their own tools.
• Strong Communication skills and attention to detail.

• Flat Rate Structure
• 30 hour GUARANTEE if the employee is clocked in 40 hours
• Any additional time flagged over the 30 hour base is paid additionally at rate - Which means UNLIMITED EARNING POTENTIAL

Requirements and abilities :

• Mechanical abilities and proficiency listed above.
• Have a large variety of hand, power, and air tools to help them complete all necessary jobs.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Take direction and guidance from senior technicians.
• Must be resourceful and able to problem solve.
• Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be able to operate a company vehicle.
• Must provide open availability for all store hours. We operate from 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment while keeping a customer first mentality.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work through projects without assistance
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs multiple times a day

Duties Include :

• Complete ability to repair automotive systems.
• Remove and re-install engine assemblies.
• Work through and learn common engine swap services we specialize in.
• Fluid and maintenance system services.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Read manufacturer's drawings and manuals
