Operations Specialist Position Description:
The world of payments is constantly changing and as a consumers’ expectations increase, industry providers must change to keep up with the landscape. I-payout provides cutting edge solutions that allow seamless and fast facilitation of payments, designed to give consumers real-time access to their transactions. As we continue to evolve our strategies and products, a key component is operational excellence. This Operations Specialist role will be pivotal in ensuring best-in-class operational practices and routines. We are looking for a goals-oriented professional dedicated to precision. Ultimately, this person will be our conduit into next generation payments practices.
· Monitor, research, and resolve issues with all payment networks utilized by I-Payout. Knowledge of banking terms and processes is beneficial.
· Attention to detail and review of transfers prior to submission, review and attendance to exception items.
· Have a clear understanding of and our adherence to network and office rules and policies to ensure that I-Payout’s responses are within network guidelines and time frames.
· Gather data and report discrepancies with a focus on resolving issues and determining I-Payout’s position on adherence.
· Establish I-Payout’s position on network rules and resolve disputes directly with the client’s networks. Responsible for the daily management of incidents including leading the identification of issues, the resolution with development, and the communications between I-Payout and the payment network vendors.
· Act as the escalation point of contact for operational issues coming into I-Payout, and operations-related issues to be discussed with networks as both a relationship manager and a problem-solver
· Monitoring of internal policies, coordination of meetings, management of subsequent documentation
· Be involved in department meetings, review projects, be a relay for communication between departments.
· Establish regular cadence of touchpoints with Management Team to proactively discuss issues, upcoming enhancements and other information necessary to create better processes
· Tech savvy and able to learn new systems. Must be able to quickly learn internally developed custom product and be able to demonstrate system capabilities and features on demand

· Ability to work in high pressure environment, focused on resolution.
Basic Qualifications for this Operations Specialist position:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field or equivalent experience
· Ability to distill high level business requirements into detailed features for complex payment systems
· Multi-tasker and able to prioritize
· Seasoned professional able to handle a large workload and multiple complex issues on a variety of topics.
· Ability to proactively identify potential issues and suggest alternatives to ultimately guide I-Payout to resolving the issues
· Understanding of QuickBooks (or equivalent), finance, money flows
· Computer savvy (can learn proprietary software easily)
· Ability to effectively communicate complex problems and solutions
· Ability to effectively understand complex technical issues and create requirements necessary for development to change the systems to adhere to the issues
· Strong written skills including process flows
· Ability to create and manage a list of issues from identification to resolution
· Strong verbal skills to explain complex problems
Preferred Skills/experiences/education for Operations Specialist:
· 4 years of experience with processing bank transactions
· Banking experience is a must!
· Operational understanding and working knowledge of payment networks (debit, credit, EFT, ACH, wire, OCT and banking) – processing, participants, operational flows, exceptions, and rules
· Understanding of the domestic and international banking network environment
