Summary of Responsibilities
- Sets visions for strategies, operations, infrastructure, and technology advancement.
- Provides strong leadership and inspiration.
- Recruits, develops, and retains new candidates and current employees.
- Champions new process development and implementation.
- Leads the development and implementation of policies, standards, and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare project bids, project plans, task lists, workflow plans, schedules, and performance metrics.
- Responsible for the evaluation of performance to budget to support pricing assumptions and pricing algorithms.
- Oversee quality control within the department.
- Ensure that complete and auditable documentation is maintained for departmental activities.
- Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation to influence decision making.
- Provide direction to Sales and Marketing on advertising and marketing presentations for bid proposals and client presentations.
- Assist with the development, review, and modification of controlled documents.
- Ensures productive collaborations between all functions to maximize efficiency.
- Identifies and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction.
- Ensures that departmental budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met.
- Participates in corporate development of relevant methods, techniques, and standards for projects, programs, and people.
- Works on critical problems across all functional areas of the business.
- Identifies potential issues for functional areas, as industry advances, and works out solutions with stakeholders.
Education, Qualifications, and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a SCIENTIFIC FIELD REQUIRED.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and planning skills
- Thoroughness and dealing with complexity
- Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment
- Willing and able to travel (30%)
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical development setting in a pharmaceutical or clinical research organization
- Previous clinical project manager experience in conducting and managing Phase 1-4 clinical trials
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
