Role and Responsibilities
· Administer employee training and related record keeping
· Member of team on Supplier Approval program
· Preparation of Certificates of Analysis for finished product
· Assist in maintenance of our raw material specifications & registry
· Manage, assess and update SOP’s
· Write finished product specifications
· Create ingredient and allergen statements for use in product labeling
· Create nutritional reports for our finished products
· Cross train with lab technicians to be able to stand in as back up
· Provide requested regulatory / food safety documentation to our customers.
· Willingness to learn, grow, take on new tasks & challenges
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Knowledge and experience with food & nutritional labeling law.
· Must be skilled in MS Word & Excel
· Expected to communicate verbally and in written form in a professional manner with our employees, management, vendors & customers
Preferred Skills
· MS Office (Word, Excel, etc)
· Basic knowledge of industry norms related to food safety & labeling
· Is comfortable in a training role
Additional Notes
· Position reports to the Quality Control Department but works closely with all departments at all levels.
· Thorough training and ongoing support as part of a team provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
