SureScan is a growing high technology company that designs, manufacturers, sells and services the SureScan x1000 baggage screening system and related products. SureScan is seeking a Customer Service and Order Fulfilment Associate to join our team in support of our operations and service departments to process return material authorization and related spare and service part orders and inventory.
The RMA processing clerk will be responsible for all aspects of the customer return authorization process. Responsibilities will include entering RMA’s, tracking RMA returns, generating replacement sales orders, collecting and analyzing data and preparing shipping pick lists. This position is part of our quality team. RMA processing clerk will report to the operations manager. Regular status and management reports will be required. Role coordinates with service, quality, purchasing, crib and shipping.
Enter Return Material Authorization’s into SureScan MRP system
- Enter sales orders into system
- Verify inventory availability for delivery
- Schedule software loading
- Issue shipment picklists to crib
- Update service ticketing system with shipping date and tracking number
- Ensure timely shipments and timely delivery of parts to shipping
- Arrange expedited shipments and freight
- Track incoming and outbound shipments of parts for repair or replacement.
- Candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must have strong computer skills.
Education & Experience
- Minimum high school diploma
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have skills in use of computers
- Skills with Excel (should understand how to use vlookups, pivot tables and graphs)
Desirable qualifications
- Previous experience in a quality role or customer service in a manufacturing environment
Physical Demands
- Must work with computers extensively
- Must work on site, will be required to move between work area and crib and shipping.
- Must be able to collect, move and deliver parts from the crib to shipping
Work Environment
Much of this role will be filled by working at a computer in a manufacturing environment. Ambient noise from equipment and servers will be present. Environment includes production of equipment that uses x-rays to inspect baggage.
