Electrical Engineers at i3 are engaged in our process, starting with concept development and continuing through product launch. They play a key role in selecting the appropriate technology and architecture that ultimately makes the product successful and thrills our clients. Variety of work is what energizes them - one day might involve a design that integrates BLE, GPS, WiFi, and an LCD display, the next, a rigid-flex PCB design with an 8-bit micro running on a coin cell battery. Responsibilities

• Electrical architecture design
• Circuit design
• Schematic capture & PCB layout
• Electro-mechanical integration
• Electrical design verification testing
• System integration & testing
  
• Mentoring junior engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline
• At least 5 years of experience
• Experience with electrical CAD tools (Altium Designer preferred)
• Experience with various communication protocols (WiFi, BLE, CAN, RS-485, etc.)
• Experience with obtaining regulatory approvals such as FCC
