Do you have experience with refereeing basketball? Do you love being around children and teaching values such as enthusiasm, respect and teamwork? Being a basketball referee with i9 Sports gives you the opportunity to teach core values and create lasting memories with kids in the Tallahassee community, all while having fun and earning money.
The i9 sports soccer referee position is a part-time position working Saturdays only during our fall, winter and spring seasons. Each season lasts 7 weeks. It’s ideal for the busy parent, professional or student who loves coaching and can commit to it on the weekend. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and take down of courts
- Referee basketball games
- Coach when needed (if a parent coach is unable to make the game to coach)
- Work directly with other i9 Sports staff
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 16 years old with some experience working with school-age children
- Cleared criminal history and fingerprint check
- Experience in coaching and playing football
- Have transportation to and from the fields

- Enjoys working with children
- Connects and works well with both children and adults
- Is a positive role model
