The IA Design Intelligence team members are collaborative, creative, professional, expert and entrepreneurial. We are presently searching for a Digital Design Application Specialist for our corporate team, seated in the Dallas office. The Digital Design Application Specialist, reporting directly to the Director of Design Intelligence, will primarily be a corporate resource helping deploy cutting edge processes and assist in driving the firm’s strategic direction in design technologies. Our processes largely center on our Revit workflow, so when referencing support and other duties below, that is the touchstone.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Lead in advanced Revit integration & innovation, e.g., engagement with our significantly evolved Revit templates and tools, and the integration of these toolsets into our firm wide design workflows.
Digital Design Applications support
Review projects by request and ensure that IA standards are adhered to and staff is capable of performing ongoing BIM Content Management, creation, approval and procedures
Establish and maintain training materials and conducting software training, both live and recorded, to grow skills of project teams
Manage and perform over the shoulder training, developing and shadowing to staff, virtually and in person
Work with vendors on tools, content and updates
Demonstrates outstanding customer service to users and works collaboratively with team members
Qualifications:
Graduate of architecture or design school: equivalent experience may be substituted
5+ Years in BIM & Revit systems administration
Ability to work under the leadership of the Director of Design Intelligence, and assist in the management of firm wide Design Technology Leads and office based Revit Leaders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of documenting processes, procedures, and workflows
Highly developed analytical troubleshooting skills
Proven ability to work both independently and in a dispersed team environment
Interoperability Management of BIM and other design tools
Expert MS Office application skills
Exceptional Revit skills
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Extensive presentation and graphic communication
Working Conditions:
All levels of Digital Design Application Specialist staff have the same working conditions. For the majority of the time all staff will be working sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist and reach. The position is not subject to occupational and safety risks.
