Job Summary:
The Independent Oversight Protected Health Information (PHI) Reports Coordinator utilizes various computer software to navigate databases, maintains tracking systems, develop, and redact PHI Incident Reports and other Independent Oversight Committee (IOC) ad hoc reports as needed for the IOCs. This position works closely with the Statewide IOC unit to ensure the IOCs receive appropriate redacted reports with the utmost emphasis on quality within established timeliness.
Deals and works with and maintains confidential information. Imports and exports data from various databases to achieve result product.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Uses appropriate software to create a variety of internal and external IOC

reports which include but not limited to District Specific.

  • Redacte Incident Reports and internal reports required by various area.
  • Coordinates timely distribution of Incident Reports to the six IOCs throughout

the state for IOC meetings.

  • Prepares ad hoc reports as needed to the Statewide IOC Coordinator.
  • Maintains databases and or tracking systems used to track incidents for

analysis and systems improvements.

  • Creates and provides established IOC reports routinely to the supervisor.

May include preparing ad hoc reports required by AHCCCS.

Additional Skills:
Detail Oriented
Comfortable doing repetitive work on the computer.
Good Interpersonal skills.

The position would be in office for the first couple of days to make sure the equipment is provided. Effective the first week of October it will be one day in the office, Wednesdays, and the other 4 days would be remote.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
