Your Role and Responsibilities
The Technical Delivery Manager will deliver Azure enterprise solutions aligned with FedRAMP compliance for a customer supporting the Department of Defense. This position focuses on leading a cross-functional delivery team of resources providing Day 0 requirements development and validation, solutioning, architecture and engineering as well as and Day 2 managed operations using automation tools and technologies. The technical delivery manager is responsible for the overall coordination of technical leadership throughout the project's life cycle. This is a multi-year program where the Technical Delivery Manager will assist with the project launch by providing input for project tasks for all phases of the project. The Technical Delivery Manager will work in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders including Program Managers, Service Delivery Managers, and Technical Account/Architecture teams. They will do this while maintaining a focus on meeting all service level objectives.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience delivering Azure cloud solutions (delivering using automation methods for all infrastructure, security, and management tools and technologies a plus)
- At Least 5 years of experience delivering large-scale, enterprise IT infrastructure and applications
- Strong Cloud IT infrastructure experience across multiple disciplines (compute, storage, network, security, and operating systems), tools and technologies
- Strong Azure experience in support of migrate, modernize, and manage application workloads in cloud Experience with security tools and technologies
- Understanding of highly available, large scale, enterprise deployments
- Strong IT Service Manage experience such as Incident and Problem Management using industry tools.
- Strong technical acumen demonstrating the ability to troubleshooting complex technical issues and lead technical activities to achieve resolution incidents and issues to meet critical service levels agreements and objectives
- Excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrating Incident and Issue root cause and technical analysis to C-suite level stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile and/or DevOps processes and methodologies
- Experience in managing large teams comprised of various disciplines
- Experience in large-scale Agile delivery
