Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Garage is an “Innovation and Transformation” consultancy located in the heart of the start-up community. Our design first organization applies IBM Design Thinking and Lean User Experience (UX) techniques to help our clients, large and small, deliver amazing experiences to their customers by helping them identify and build innovative applications on the IBM Cloud. Our fast paced, collaborative, and co-located teams make the IBM Garage the most exciting place to be.

• Establish and track program performance metrics, requirements analysis, program planning, managing program timeline and engagement financials
• Help define engagement scope, goals and deliverables
• Define tasks and required resources
• Help solve client problems and manage financial aspects of contracts
• Track deliverables
• Lead the day to day execution of a client project while guiding and developing individual team members
• Monitor and prepare reports on project performance in order to evaluate and assess results of the engagement
• Implement and lead change when necessary to meet engagement outputs
• Expand ongoing projects or opportunities and work with sales teams to generate new business
• Address customer issues with speed and efficiency
• In a collaborative team setting, you'll work closely with others but also autonomously with little direction
• Communicate well and multi-task under tight deadlines
• Ensure that our relationships with customers are strong, profitable and enduring
• Ability to travel up to 50% is required

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Project management experience
• Experience working directly with external clients and providing consultation
• Proficient in MS Office, project management software and collaboration tools
• Strong analytical abilities, negotiation/presentation skills, and organizational/planning abilities
• Excellent time management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage shifting priorities without compromising any of the projects
• Ability to learn and implement new systems, procedures, and business processes quickly

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Agile Certification (PSM, PMI-ACP etc) and/or Certified Scrum Master
• Experience with Lean or Agile software development initiatives
