Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Rochester Minnesota Finance & Operations organization is instrumental in driving innovative improvements to global financial processes providing measurable value to the business. We collaborate with cross-functional teams of our peers around the world. We will complement your skill set with our on-site classroom experiences and ample opportunities to apply Agile work management methodologies – training provided! Join our new hire network group and enjoy creative social events sponsored by our own Finance climate group. This is an office based position located at our Rochester, MN IBM office location.
The Finance Co-op experience is a tremendous hands-on opportunity providing exposure to corporate finance and the broader corporate structure. Students continue their learning experience furthering both technical and professional skills as they manage specific business deliverables with the opportunity to participate in impactful projects. Your responsibilities could include budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, resource allocation, tracking and reporting key financial metrics, and portfolio analysis. We look for people who enjoy collaboration with teammates, data analysis, and have a passion for the IT industry.
This Finance Co-op role is a 6 month full time position, that may require for you to take a semester off from school. Co-op program start and end dates are scheduled for December 2022-June 2023 OR May 2023-January 2024.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Currently pursing a college degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other closely related degree programs.
