Your Role and Responsibilities
Primary role - This role is responsible for leading all activities within order fulfillment department. Primary responsibility is to provide very clear and timely production direction to the Manufacturing teams in order to assure timely shipments of both Box and Loose Piece MES orders. Candidate will also work closely with multiple brand representation, which will include different locations throughout the IBM Supply Chain. Responsibilities will also include leadership, relationship, process and operational support, including support to the brands and sales teams. Monitor and evaluate process execution, trends and root causes, business performance, and business controls to promote client satisfaction and achieve operational results. The employee focuses on individual/team/department/ operational objectives. The employee will also be expected to work closely, which will include providing work direction, to IBM shipping contractors and global logistics. Candidate needs to be able to work in a fast pace and dynamic work environment.
Secondary role - to support all daily, monthly & quarter end fulfillment department processes. The candidate will be required to provide very clear communications to the Manufacturing teams of order status, specifically driving the scheduling of the order to the manufacturing team. The Order Fulfillment position candidate will need to develop strong working relations ships with not only the Manufacturing teams, but the Brand Advocates, Engineering, and the brand offices, some of which are located outside the United States. The candidate will also participate in the root cause analysis and corrective actions when an order does not pass down throughout the release process.
