Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Consulting Practices Performance Leader works across all IBM Consulting Growth Platforms and Geographies to help Practice Leaders succeed in developing and progressing industry leading talent. The role will help shape IBM Consulting’s talent priorities and then co-create strategies, programs, and enablement to help Practice Leaders achieve outcomes that measurably contribute to our overall business growth agenda. The Practices Performance Leader will help foster a vibrant Practice Leader community that continuously learns, quickly scales best practices, and creates highly-engaged environments for IBM Consulting practitioners to thrive.
This is a highly visible role interfacing directly with IBM Consulting senior leaders and over 600 Practice Leaders across all geographies and delivery centers. The role will also mobilize and integrate solutions from HR, Workforce Management, Learning & Knowledge, Offering Management, Operations, and IT to better equip Practice Leaders in achieving talent outcomes.
Key Activities:
Work with IBM Consulting senior leadership teams at the global, geo, market and delivery center levels to lead the successful and consistent deployment of the Practice Leader model with common role definition, performance standards and KPI-based outcomes.
Co-create with IBM Consulting leaders and functional experts the platforms and programs that help drive measurable outcomes in the areas of: Skilling/certifications, engagement, external eminence, diversity, productivity and efficiency.
Actively manage the Practice Leader community - create compelling communications, deliver effective enablement materials and learning forums/events and exploit "new ways of working" methods.
Design and leverage analytics-based assessments and prescribed solutions aimed at objectively assessing and elevating Practice performance.
Harness the power of creativity, competition, and fun to engage and inspire Practice Leaders and contribute to their professional growth and impact.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
IBM Consulting client/project leadership experience
Strong leadership skills and transformation/change management experience
Executive-level communications skills – verbal and written
Strong collaborator and adept at leveraging new ways of working to drive speed and engagement
Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Motivated and passionate to lead/coach others
Excellent teamwork and knowledge sharing skills
Design Thinking/Co-creation and Agile Project Management experience
Open to all locations but must be able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Analytics and reporting experience
IBM or external certifications in Project Management and/or Agile
IBM Blue Core Coach or Mentor
