Your Role and Responsibilities
The Legislative Affairs Analyst will support varied and complex deliverables across a variety of work streams for the Air Force Civil Engineer portfolio. Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders by participating in, and when AF/A4C is the lead facilitating, meetings/forums, working groups, committees, panels/sub-panels, boards, etc. and coordinating, consolidating, developing, and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials. This role is centered around the delivery of business transformation and strategy/policy implementation for a 50,000 person enterprise.
If you are hired into a Colorado or Ithaca, NY work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position is 63,000-97,000 based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 1 year of experience using excellent written and verbal communication skills
- At least 1 year experience of analytical, communication, problem solving, and time management skills
- At least 2 years experience of Policy/Congressional Background
- At least 1 year of strategy and policy development experience
- Active DoD clearance to start
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 2 years experience of having a strong aptitude to understand, analyze, and communicate complex problems with attention to detail
- At least 2 years experience of being able to self-teach new technical and non-technical concepts
Salary : $97,700 - $124,000
