Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Project Manager you will:
- Manage complex projects, including planning, execution, and delivery against the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs)
- Work across the various team’s portfolio to manage multiple complex projects - both delivery and financial health
- Work with the client, sales, and executive team to communicate status, risks, issues and drive successful delivery
- Drive growth through identification of new sales strategies based on successful delivery
- Responsible for project cost, scope, schedule, performance, risks and quality assurance to provide on-time, within budget, performance of all aspects of contract
- Ensure compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures
- Regularly interface with all levels of IBM management and customers
- Detail project inputs to internal and external reporting
- Manage globally distributed project teams
- Develop Project Schedule and various metrics such as and not limited to Earned Value (EV), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Burn down and burn up charts, Product Backlogs
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 8 – 10 years of project management experience.
- Use of Iterative implementation methodology
- Consulting Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- PMP certification
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Government project management, delivery experience or Government service
- Successfully working with a globally distributed project team
- Understanding of Agile development methodology
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification
- Knowledge of Cloud technology
- Experience responding to Request for Proposals (RFP), developing solutions on Project Management and delivery methodologies
