Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Administer medications following prescribed protocols
- Uphold resident rights and maintain their dignity and privacy
- Support individuals with autism in their daily activities
- Collaborate with nurses to implement care plans effectively
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
- Provide compassionate caregiving services to residents
- Offer assistance with hospice care as needed
- Deliver direct support to individuals with diverse needs
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents
Requirements:
- Experience in medication administration and ADLs is preferred
- Knowledge of resident rights and working with people with autism is a plus
- Background in nursing or caregiving is beneficial
- Ability to prepare meals and assist with hospice care
- Familiarity with direct support services
- Strong attention to detail and compassion for others
