Job Summary
The Proposal Writer is responsible for coordinating, developing, and writing high quality, results-oriented proposals and RFP responses to IC System prospects and clients.
LocationOffice location is at our Vadnais Heights, MN location. This is a hybrid position, with an opportunity to work remote up to 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain standard written responses articulating IC Systems’ capabilities, history, management, experience, and other key data for purposes of proposal development; including component pieces specific to designated markets or industries.
Organize multiple proposal projects at a time and meet their strict deadlines.
Update electronic library of standard responses.
Analyze competitive proposals to identify themes and best practices.
Collaborate with relevant departments to determine proposal/RFP requirements, assign tasks to subject matter experts (SMEs), craft content provided by SMEs into comprehensive and compelling responses, and write original text as needed.
Work with the Marketing Team to enhance proposal format and presentation.
Collaborate with the Salesperson originating the proposal opportunity to ensure accuracy.
Submit final responses that maximize win rate.
Qualifications
5 years of experience in writing RFPs, preferably for third-party collection agencies.
Experienced writer and editor with a working knowledge of the elements of style and grammar.
Strong reading comprehension with the ability to translate IC System capabilities into appropriate RFP responses.
