iCallidus is seeking a flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic Copyeditor to join our team with a communications or journalism background. As part of our dynamic team, you'll elevate the quality of work we deliver. This individual will have a passion for coherent editing and writing, information technology, and helping the organization reach their maximum potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and provide quality assurance on writing to ensure a consistent voice and key messages are conveyed.
• Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
• Identify inaccuracies or errors in various types of documentation.
• Write clearly and edit effectively for the intended defined target audience.
• Maintain a consistent style and format across documents.
• Read and comprehend information and key ideas presented in writing.
• Identify inaccuracies or errors in various types of content.
• Perform copy edits based on team’s feedback.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in either Communications, Journalism, English or related field.
• Three years of experience in editing or copywriting with a strong interest or background in information technology.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a desire to contribute to the peer review process while providing exceptional customer service.
• A strong desire to grow and learn from peers and Subject Matter Experts.
• Proficient in gathering information and synthesizing it.
• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks, prioritize as necessary, and deliver high-quality work to a variety of stakeholders under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly.
• Experience and comfortable in communicating to team members at all levels including executives.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and make necessary changes.
• A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of team members.
• Strong ability to think creatively, solve problems, set priorities and work under pressure.
• Upon request, ability to provide a portfolio of diverse copyediting samples, developed in professional settings, demonstrating skills and experience.
