iCallidus is seeking a creative and dynamic Graphic Designer to join our health communications team. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to create visually engaging designs that communicate health messages effectively and resonate with diverse audiences. This role involves collaborating closely with content strategists and digital teams to produce compelling graphics for various media including digital platforms, print materials, and interactive media.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Creation: Develop innovative designs for a variety of health communication materials such as brochures, infographics, posters, web pages, and social media content.
  • Visual Strategy: Contribute to the visual strategy of health campaigns by collaborating with communication strategists to ensure that designs align with key messages and audience engagement goals.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain consistency across all visual elements, adhering to brand guidelines to ensure a coherent visual identity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including content creators and digital marketers, to integrate visual and textual content.
  • Project Management: Manage graphic design projects from conception to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and outputs are of high quality.
  • Feedback Incorporation: Revise and iterate designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.
  • Technology Proficiency: Stay updated with the latest design software and technologies (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision) and apply best practices in graphic design and web production.
  • Accessibility Compliance: Ensure that all designs are accessible according to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, particularly for web content.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional design experience, preferably within a public health or agency setting.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of creative and technically proficient design work.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with web design and multimedia software.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Exceptional creativity and innovation with a strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual nuances.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate design concepts and rationales.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt designs to different formats and environments, with a good understanding of digital trends and responsive design.

Employment Type:

Full Time, on-site work, must live within a 10-15 mile radius, comfortably and reasonably commute to client’s location in Atlanta, GA. Also, must be willing to travel to client’s other locations nationwide, as needed.
