Overview
Network Engineers experienced in high-performance network architecture, next generation multimedia communication, and fault-tolerant/high-availability systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily network administration tasks of computing resources including perimeter premises, WAN routers, LAN routers/switches, load balancers, traffic monitoring, and network management.
Coordinate necessary network provisioning and configuration with other divisions to support research and development (R&D) projects.
Participate in defining operating procedures of computing resources and provide opinions from network security and performance perspectives.
Assist project manager to coordinate and resolve technical matters
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a network engineer in a heterogenous environment including Linux, Windows, Mac, and other applications.
Hands-on experience in configuring and administering network equipment including routers, switches, load balancers, and protocol analyzers
Good knowledge of Linux operating systems
Practical experience and a good understanding of network protocols such as IPV6, TCP/IP, OSPF, FTP, and STP
Demonstrated capability in debugging, tracking, fixing, and investigating security and network-related issues
Excellent organization ability to complete tasks by priority with a solution oriented and goal oriented approach
Good knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure and operational environment
A minimum of B.S. in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other equivalent engineering disciplines. An advanced degree is highly desirable.
CISSP, CCSP, CCIE or CCNP certification is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with Cisco’s network and security devices is a plus.
