About the Role
The Treasury Oversight function is a new role within iCapital’s Client Operations department. The Treasury Oversight function has been formed to supervise our private fund banking operations, including account openings and closings, maintenance of banking information within iCapital’s database and client-facing documentation, banking portal entitlement administration, and reporting. As Analyst, you will be responsible for completing these banking deliverables under the supervision of the Vice President of the Treasury Oversight Team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in meetings with Fund Origination, Legal, Fund Finance and other stakeholders to aid with selecting the appropriate banking partner for new products.
- Compile and submit documentation to ensure the timely opening/closing of private fund demand deposit and/or liquidity management accounts with iCapital’s global banking partners.
- Help review and administer banking portal entitlements for internal and external partners to ensure appropriateness of access.
- Maintain banking information within iCapital’s system of record and within client facing instructions.
- Compile and deliver daily, weekly, monthly and/or ad hoc reporting to summarize banking balances and activity (including money market sweep and/or foreign currency programs, as applicable).
- Assist with the regular review of team processes to ensure documentation remains aligned to current practice as the group evolves.
- Support iCapital’s vendor management program by helping leadership gather information on each banking partner as may be required.
- May assist iCapital’s fund finance teams with cash reconciliations and/or researching payments.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience with treasury operations, fund administration, accounting, audit and/or a related function. Familiarity with private funds desired but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Proven ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a collaborative team player in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a global management structure.
- Attention to detail and proficiency reconciling large volumes of data.
- Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office Suite.
