- PCB Motherboard BGA Rework Equipment Experienced Micro- Soldering Technician.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time Required.
- Education: High school or equivalent.
- Required repair technician experience: 2 years.
- Micro-Soldering: 1 year.
Responsibilities include:
- Being able to hand-solder SMT components.
- Remove and replace thru-hole comp without board damage.
- Solder wires and cables.
- Identify assembly and documents issues.
- Preferred: can also remove and replace SMT components without damage.
- Perform SMT rework.
- Write ECO to have assembly and document issues corrected.
Minimum qualifications require:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to write routine reports and speak English with other employees.
- Must have successfully completed J-Std and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assembly training.
- Also preferred are IPC-7711/IPC-7721 Rework and Repair of Electronic Assemblies training.
- Operate BGA Rework Equipment to remove and replace BGA & QFN components.
- Create Reflow profile to remove and install BGA & QFN components using BGA Rework Equipment.
- Ability to inspect of Rework devices to ensure quality of product.
- Knowledge of Rework/Repair of PCB (Surface Mount and Thru-hole technology) to IPC 7711/7721.
- Knowledge of IPC-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
- Has to have a wide experience with software (Windows and Mac Platforms).
- Experienced dealing with Hardware issues ( Diagnosis and repair) screen lcd replacement, charging port, batteries, power button volume buttons, no image liquid damage, data recovery.
- Has to have the ability to disassemble and assemble all Smartphones, Computers, Laptops, Tablets and Game Consoles.
- Ability rooting/flashing unlocking mobile devices.
- Experience dealing with Mobile Devices Hardware smartphones (Removing and replacing Screens, Digitizers, charging ports, motherboards and similar) on phones and tablets.
- Experience in micro soldering IC chips , charging ports read schematics/diagrams IS A MUST.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Rework/repair PCB’s in accordance with a schedule to IPC-7711, IPC-7721.
- Performs Rework/repair internal and external product to ensure PCB’s are reworked to the required customer and industry standards.
- Contribute effectively to the team to ensure objectives are met.
- Maintain scheduled workload within specified timescales.
- Work with Supervisor/Manager and Support Staff to solve issues and implement changes as required; make process flow and other improvement opportunity recommendations.
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned at any time.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Skilled at soldering and board rework (surface mount and thru-hole technology) of fine pitch devices.
- Dexterity, steady hand to manipulate and position extremely small devices.
- Able to use a microscope to soldering rework for extended periods.
- Ability to work well with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of IPC-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
- Knowledge of rework/repair of PCB’s to IPC 7711/7721.
- Knowledge of IPC J-standard.
